The Pest Management Institute is a not for profit organisation formed to help facilitate the improvement of Pest Management practices and training in North Queensland.
The tyranny of distance has made it extremely difficult for Northern Australian Pest Management employers and their employees to access cost effective training and conferences in order for professional development to continue. PMINQ caters for these needs and runs a conference aimed at attracting Pest Managers from across Australia but mainly those outside of capital cities.
Regional Pest Management has its own set of challenges sometimes not understood by larger cities, the Northern Exposure Conference has been running for 4 years and has attracted some excellent speakers delivering fantastic training and professional development to local Pest Control operators.
The aim of PMI is to eventually establish chapters and branches throughout Queensland and further afield, focusing on the needs of the Pest Management Community.
